GL softball team's season comes to an end after falling to Overbrook in Group 2 semifinals; Highlanders had much success, with 24-5 finish

Although the Governor Livingston softball team fell one game shy of playing in a second Group 2 state championship game in four years, the Highlanders still produced a highly-successful season.

The Governor Livingston softball team is now one win away from returning to Toms River three years after capturing its first state championship there.
For the second time in four seasons, the Highlanders captured the Central Jersey, Group 2 crown.
